A lot of gun culture originates in action films and Hollywood scripts however, movie magic means a lot of the story is made up — even the guns. Let’s pretend that we’re the hero for a moment. Suspend your disbelief, let your imagination run wild and check out these guns.

  1. Bishop’s Plasma Gun

Bishop is a badass mutant from the future who travels through time to join the X-Men. His powers are energy absorption and transfusion. He’s known for carrying a big plasma gun that’s connected to a vein in his arm. It allows him to transfer the energy he has absorbed into the gun and shoot plasma bursts.

  1. Han Solo’s Heavy Blaster Pistol

As an intergalactic smuggler and daring pilot turned Rebel Alliance General, Han Solo is known for packin’ a DL-44 sidearm blaster. He’s a quick draw and accurate marksman — just ask Greedo.

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

  1. Captain Kirk’s Phaser Rifle

Star Trek’s various series and movies contain different models of the phaser rifle. One of the coolest looking versions appeared on the second pilot episode of the original series, titled Where No Man Has Gone Before.
